In 1944, since the US B-29 bombers began to be equipped with large numbers of troops, the arrogant Japanese fascist doom is coming. These Japanese fascists, whose hands were covered with blood from the people of the world, finally tasted the taste of broken mountains and rivers and broken families. Since then, the Sino-US Joint Air Force has taken advantage of China's Zhijiang's geographical advantages to continuously increase strategic bombing on Japan's mainland, and the anti-fascist struggle of the people of the world has entered a climax.
In April 1945, in order to avoid a comprehensive liquidation, the Japanese fascist, who was struggling in dyingly launched a combat plan numbered "Zhijiang Strategic Battle" when the comprehensive national strength was completely unavailable. The purpose was to occupy the base of the Sino-US Joint Air Force in Zhijiang, Hunan.
Faced with the Japanese invaders at the end of the road, the Chinese army and the people shared the same hatred for the enemy, and they fought for an inch of land. They fought bravely at the foot of the Xuefeng Mountain in Hunan, defeated the Japanese attack, accelerated the demise of Japanese fascists, and added a glorious mark to the world's anti-fascist struggle!
The invaders at the end of the road
1938, after the Japanese invaders carried out the whole country to conquer Wuhan, China, the problems of insufficient logistics supply, insufficient troops, and too long front lines became increasingly prominent. In order to avoid being liquidated by the world, the Japanese base had to change its policy of invasion of China, use its main military forces to deal with the anti-Japanese armed forces led by our party, and use induce surrender methods to the Kuomintang government.
Under the leadership of our party, China's military and civilians' determination to fight against the war is becoming increasingly firm. After Japanese fascism invaded a large swathe of China's territory, it still cannot achieve its goals in natural resources. The shortage of strategic resources such as oil, steel, food, rubber, and medicine has not been effectively alleviated.
After the Japanese fascist regime was stabbed by the United States in December and July 1941, it created the "Pearl Harbor Incident" and once again provoked the war.
The militarized Japanese fascists took risks when they lack confidence and fought against China and the United States at the same time. The result is self-evident. Chinese military and civilians repeatedly invaded the Japanese army on battlefields such as China, Myanmar, and Vietnam. The US military severely damaged the Japanese navy on the Pacific battlefield, laying a solid foundation for the final victory of the world's anti-fascist struggle.
Although the United States was strong at that time, it came from afar and it was difficult to completely defeat the Japanese fascism in a short period of time. Although China has the ability to kill Japanese fascists, its overall national strength is weak and it is difficult to eliminate Japanese fascists in a short period of time. The other countries involved in this war were not successful, which made the Japanese fascist army, which had already reached the end of their lives, still had strong combat effectiveness.
When it is about to perish, the Japanese base camp believes that as long as the railway line from Northeast China to Southeast Asia and the use of China's rich and high-quality coal resources as fuel, it can not only alleviate the problem of the Japanese army's energy shortage and inability to maintain a large-scale offensive, but also allow the main forces of the army on the Chinese battlefield and the navy in the Pacific region to be connected, thus avoiding the danger of being defeated by the Allies one by one.
So, the Japanese base camp formulated the "Operation No. 1 Battle Outline", and tried hard to squeeze out the Japanese people in an attempt to realize their conspiracy.
At this time, the essence of Chairman Mao’s "On Protracted War" has spread all over the world. Not only the people of the world in hard battles, but even the fascist leaders admire Chairman Mao’s strategic vision and strategic layout very much. In accordance with Chairman Mao's long-term war thinking, the Chinese military and civilians no longer care about the gains and losses of a city and a pool, and changed their original combat thinking, which made the Japanese invaders achieve combat attempts tactically but were defeated strategically.
After the Japanese army opened up the railway line running through the north and south of China, due to insufficient troops, they were frequently attacked by Chinese military and civilians, and were unable to ensure the smooth flow of the entire transportation line, nor could they prevent the bombing of the Sino-US Air Force from the bombing of Japan's mainland.
Japanese fascist failure snow peak natural danger
Xuefeng Mountain is a giant mountain range spanning southwestern to central Hunan, China. It has a length of about 350 kilometers and a width of 80 to 120 kilometers. The main peak of Xuefeng Mountain is Subaoding, with an altitude of 1934 meters. The overall terrain of Xuefeng Mountain is steep and steep, with lush vegetation, and it is difficult for the Japanese mechanized troops to play their advantages here.
Because the Hunan-Guizhou Railway passes from the hinterland of Xuefeng Mountain, it is the only way for the Japanese invaders to attack the rear of southwestern China. Therefore, the Chinese military and civilians were putting heavy troops here to defend, and the Japanese army also dispatched their elite troops to attack this place.
Before the outbreak of the Xuefeng Mountain Battle, the Sino-US Joint Air Force established a large base in the area of Zhijiang County in the hinterland of Xuefeng Mountain, and continuously took advantage of Zhijiang's geographical advantages to take the initiative, and severely damaged the Japanese army in the battles of Changheng and Guiliu.
In order to avoid being beaten everywhere, the Japanese fascists sent a large number of spies to infiltrate western Hunan while launching the battle between Henan, Hunan and Guangxi. These Japanese spies are all from the infamous Japanese Army Nakano School, and are all professionally trained. Some dress up as refugees, and some dress up as Chinese academics, constantly penetrating into various fields of China. In addition to sending spies, the notorious chemical warfare unit of the Japanese Unit 516 was also transferred to the Hunan battlefield.
At this time, the New Fourth Army led by our party had already realized the intention of the Japanese fascism. All units of the New Fourth Army stationed in Hunan area united all anti-Japanese armed forces to destroy the Japanese army's logistics supply line, leaving the Japanese army in a passive position on the battlefield in Hunan.
In late February 1945, the Sino-US Joint Air Force dispatched more than 170 B-29 bombers from Zhijiang Airport in Hunan, and headed straight for Tokyo, Japan and dropped 450 tons of incendiary bombs at one time, burning Tokyo into a sea of fire. Even the "holy land" in the minds of Japanese fascists was bombed, causing serious internal strife within the Japanese fascists.
At that time, the technical level of the fighter jet units of various countries was limited and almost no night combat capability. Although the Japanese Air Force had the most advanced fighter jets in the world at that time, it was powerless to face bombers flying at night. The new heavy bomber,
B-29 bomber, had a maximum range of 5,663 kilometers at that time, and a combat radius of 2,500-2,900 kilometers. The straight-line distance from China's Zhijiang Air Force Base to Tokyo, Japan is 2,979 kilometers.
In order to make up for the insufficient range, the Sino-US Joint Air Force usually reduced the flight weight, increased the range, took off from the Zhijiang base in China, and landed in the Zhejiang area after completing the bombing mission. The anti-Japanese military and civilians led by our party are responsible for protecting the safety of pilots.
Ten thousand Japanese troops flee
In April 1945, the commander of the 20th Japanese army of the invading China, Kazura Sakanishi, was ordered by the Japanese base camp to gather the 116th, 47th, 34th, 68th and 64th divisions of the Japanese Army, plus part of the 8th Independent Brigade and part of the puppet army. Under the cover of the 5th Japanese Air Force, about 100,000 troops attacked from Baoqing (now Shaoyang, Hunan) and Dong'an to the western Hunan region, with the purpose of occupying the Zhijiang Air Force Base. It is known in history as the "Xuefeng Mountain Battle" and the Japanese army called it the "Zhijiang Strategic Battle".
In China, He Yingqin is responsible for commanding the Third and Fourth Front Army and the Sixth War Zone, with a total of 9 troops of about 200,000 troops launching head-on combat with the invading enemy. The New Fourth Army led by our party is responsible for mobilizing the masses to restrain the enemy behind enemy lines.
The fighter jets of the Japanese invaders at that time still had high combat performance. At the beginning of a large-scale attack on the western Hunan region, the mechanized troops still had strong combat effectiveness in areas with relatively flat terrain. However, after entering the high mountains and ridges of Xuefeng Mountain, the Japanese army found that this was not a war at all, but a death toll.

The terrain in western Hunan is already full of mountains and few lands. Most of the local villages make a living by hunting for generations and have developed a skill of hunting and survival in the wild. Under the leadership of our party, thousands of residents in western Hunan have made full use of their own familiarity with the local environment to continuously raid the Japanese army. The Japanese troops, whose troops were already short of troops, must divide their troops to guard the bridges and protect the roads, and also prevent the harassment of Chinese military and civilians. It is difficult to fight according to the original plan, and even the daily food of the troops is difficult to guarantee.
For example, the more than 4,000 people from the Chongguang Detachment of the 47th Division of the Japanese Army were originally going to cooperate with the Japanese 116th Division to launch an attack on the Lantian County area. Han Jun, the commander of the 73rd Army of the Kuomintang stationed in Lantian area, issued on April 9, 1945. The 47th Division of the Japanese Army was issued due to the continuous harassment of the New Fourth Army and local people. After the assembly was not completed within the scheduled time, he decisively took the initiative.
Han Jun ordered the troops of the two regiments to take the initiative to attack the Chongguang Detachment of the 47th Division of the Japanese Army, caught him off guard, forcing the main force of the 47th Division of the Japanese Army to increase its troops twice before he stabilized his position.
On April 14, Han Jun deliberately showed weakness and asked the Japanese 47th Division to cross the Zishui River, and then suddenly assembled all heavy artillery bombings in the entire army, and sent infantry to attack the Japanese army crossing the river. As a result, more than 15,000 Japanese 47th Division were divided into five or six places and could not concentrate their troops. If it were not for the support of Japanese aircraft above, the division would not have been able to complete the assembly the next night.
The Japanese 116th Division, which attempted to invade Zhijiang Air Force Base from Xupu County, ended even worse. On April 16, the division assembled more than 15,000 people from artillery, baggage and other troops to invade the area of Longtan Town, Xupu County, Hunan Province. It was immediately surrounded by the 19th Division and the 51st Division of the Kuomintang. After suffering heavy losses, it hurriedly fled to the area of Hongling Village, Longtan Town.
When more than 3,000 troops of the 109th Regiment of the 116th Division of the Japanese Army arrived at the narrow ravine of Qiandan Cave, Hongling Village, there were cannons from the Kuomintang army in front of him, and planes from the Sino-US Joint Air Force were bombarded by the anti-Japanese military and civilians led by our party, and countless casualties were killed or injured.
Hunters in western Hunan were like fish in water in the mountains and ridges. They always killed and wounded the Japanese army when the Japanese army did not find them, causing the Japanese 109th Regiment to face the situation of exhausting ammunition and food. The more they moved forward, the fewer the number.
On May 11, when the Japanese 109th Regiment fled to the Huanglianjiang area, the corps originally had less than 2,000 troops, including more than 500 wounded soldiers. In order to avoid being completely wiped out, the captain of the regiment commander Takiji Saburo decided to abandon the wounded soldiers at the order of the division commander.
The wounded soldiers or patients who could no longer walk on their own were locked up in a house. The team led by Takiji Saburo ordered them to commit suicide, which was called: Collective Jade Broken.
Because of the shortage of ammunition, when Takiji Saburo wanted to massacre these wounded soldiers and patients, he took away their guns, ammunition and all available materials and ordered them to burn themselves. The Japanese wounded soldiers and patients had a strong desire to survive and refused to submit, but they were burned to death.
During the entire Xuefeng Mountain Battle, more than 27,000 Japanese soldiers suffered casualties, of which about 12,500 were shot dead, 447 were captured, and more than 1,000 were killed and injured by the people in western Hunan during the escape. The number of casualties in the Chinese army was 20,660, of which more than 7,800 were killed.
html Tens of thousands of Japanese soldiers took a major escape on Xuefeng Mountain, and hundreds of soldiers died of illness, fell into the abyss and pools, or were attacked by poisonous insects and beasts. At this time, due to the exhaustion of resources, the Japanese fascism was completely in a position of being beaten. According to local recollections, within a few months after the end of the Battle of Xuefeng Mountain, the war zone was still filled with a huge stench of corpse.A few months later, the Japanese invaders lowered their heads and returned to Xuefeng Mountain, a place that they would never forget for life, and the people of the world achieved a comprehensive victory in the anti-fascist struggle.
