Wang Zaixing
Wang Zaixing (1914-1965), a native of Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, was the founding major general of the People's Republic of China. He was 51 years old.
joined the Communist Party of China in 1929 and was incorporated into the Red Army in 1935. In 1949, he was appointed director of the Political Department of the Gansu Military Region. In 1961, he was appointed as the political commissar of the Armored Corps Engineering College of the People's Liberation Army.

In 1949, he served as deputy chief of staff of the 3rd Army of the People's Liberation Army. From 1963 to 1969, he served as chief of staff of the Armored Forces Command of the People's Liberation Army.
