Recently, the Yucheng District Veterans Affairs Bureau has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 12th Provincial Party Congress, and transformed the spirit of continuously expanding employment to increase income and implementing the employment priority strategy into the responsibility of promoting employment, taking active actions and serving in the forefront. We will make every effort to provide employment and entrepreneurship services for the first batch of 52 retired military graduates from the college in Yucheng District.
The plan is in place. Organize a dedicated person to contact the Yucheng District Education Bureau to check the list of graduates, and understand their basic situation through phone calls, WeChat inquiries, etc. in advance to get a clear picture. Carefully study relevant policies, take the initiative to learn from advanced experience, hold special meetings to deploy the employment and entrepreneurship work of the first batch of expanded vocational college graduates, retired military graduates, and make early arrangements.
The research was in place and we went to the grassroots level to conduct interviews and surveys with some of the first batch of retired military personnel in higher vocational colleges to fully understand their employment, entrepreneurship, living conditions, and future development plans. We also listened to their relevant suggestions on the current employment and entrepreneurship of veterans in our district, and conducted in-depth discussions. Various difficulties faced by retired military personnel in the process of employment and entrepreneurship and their solutions. During the survey, Huang Wenlong, a retired soldier in the first batch of higher vocational education expansion, said that the expansion of higher vocational education for veterans has provided him with good opportunities for work, and the majors he has learned have been greatly used in his work.
