Although frontline soldiers have indeed had little rest in the five months since the war began, Russia has recently begun a small-scale rotation and rest, allowing soldiers to go home to rest. The key to fighting is to go all out in one go. If you don't take advantage of the victory and pursue it at this time, you may face repeated declines or three defeats.
Another most important point is that the Ukrainian army has now begun a crazy counterattack, even launching attacks on residential areas on the Russian border, and also using " seahorse " to severely damage Russian troops in other areas. At such a critical moment, the rest of the Russian army is equivalent to giving the Ukrainian army another opportunity to counterattack. First, the soldiers really need to rest. Moreover, not all Russian troops will rest. Only the troops who fought in Lugansk can rest. The Russian troops in the Eastern and Western Groups will continue to fight. This will not only prevent the combat plan from being affected, but also give Russian soldiers a chance to breathe. After the rest of these troops is over, the east and west teams can also rotate.
Second, Russia is preparing for a long war. In fact, if the Russian army intends to end the battle as soon as possible, there is no need to rush to rotate and rest. The reason for doing so shows that the Russian army will continue to fight in the future. Although the Russian army has achieved successive victories, the war situation is far from being able to relax its vigilance. Sweden and Finland have officially joined NATO, which means that the Russian army will face greater pressure and the battle will continue to expand. So before that, the Russian army must rest and recuperate, because the next battle is the real tough battle, and rest is for better combat.
Third, Russia is not afraid of being consumed. Now the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has entered the stage of a war of attrition, and Russia has a huge advantage. Whether it is battlefield ammunition consumption or economic resilience, its performance exceeds Western imagination. To put it simply, a war of attrition will not only fail to bring Russia down, but will also make it richer and richer. Only the West will be constantly consumed, and the inflation situation in various countries has become difficult to control. This is all retribution. The Russian army's successive victories were "stopped", but the situation was still under Russia's control. Even if some soldiers went to the front line, the Ukrainian army was still no match.
