Consultation:
Hello military road , I am a fourth-level sergeant . I have served for almost 16 years now. The policy of receiving retirement pension every month makes me very happy. I am excited, thinking about choosing to retire month by month after reaching the standard, but I also want to go back and take the public institution or civil service examination, at least to have an iron rice bowl. What I am struggling with now is that if I am admitted to the civil service or public institution, all the month-by-month exams will be taken. The relevant benefits are gone. I would like to ask is it true? Will my social security be gone?

Hello comrades, according to the " Veterans Security Law of the People's Republic of China " and the "Measures for the Arrangement of Monthly Retirement Benefits for Veterans" it is clear:
"It is paid on a monthly basis. For retired officers and non-commissioned officers who have been placed with retirement benefits and are employed as civil servants or staff of public institutions, their retirement benefits will be suspended starting from the month following their employment or employment, and their remuneration will be implemented in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations for the management of civil servants and staff of public institutions. , and its social insurance is transferred and continued in accordance with national regulations."
The "civil servants and staff of public institutions" here refer to the personnel specified in the Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China and the Personnel Management Regulations of Public Institutions.
For specific treatment issues, you can refer to the relevant content in the "Retired Soldiers' Monthly Retirement Benefit Settlement Measures".
