Victoria State Guarantee 491 is currently divided into two channels:
- Domestic Applicants Channel
- Overseas Applicants Channel
Australian applicant regulations:
Domestic Applicants’ regulations have not changed.
-Meet the minimum requirements of Immigration Agency for 491;
-If you live in Australia, you must live and work in a remote area of Victoria, work on the list of relevant technical careers, and pass professional skills assessment.
-You have to work in remote areas of Victoria to have the opportunity to submit a ROI. Includes technical jobs ANZSCO for any occupation that is at level 1, 2 or 3 in the classification.
Regulations for applicants in Australia:
-If you are an overseas applicant, you are eligible to submit the ROI of the nominated occupation;
-Meet the minimum requirements of the Immigration Bureau for 491;
-Via will give priority to the following occupations:
- Health occupations--Environmental sanitation positions
- social workers--Social Work
- teachers--Teachers
Previously, Victoria only prioritized nursing related positions, and now social work and teachers are also included in the priority scope. This is a big advantage! Of course, applicants from other professions are also encouraged to submit!
