⏰Time flies so fast. I have been living in Austria for almost two years. I failed to apply for a quota by preparing my own materials by DIY, and then entrusted an agency to handle immigration for more than three years. Now I have successfully obtained the residence status in Austria. Let me share with you below. Introducing the immigration details and living environment in Austria!

I only have residence card status, not nationality!

1⃣️The cost of living in each city in Austria is different. Generally speaking, the largest expenditure on living expenses is housing. If you have sufficient funds, you can buy a house; if you have insufficient funds, renting is also possible! Austrian immigrants have no requirements for this, and they take great care of immigrants!

2⃣️Austria uses a quota immigration method. There are only 400 places every year, and only 130 families are matched. The competition starts during New Year's Day. My first DIY failure was to get a place but the materials I prepared were not good enough. In the end, I commissioned an immigration company. Management, specialization in the art industry!

3⃣️The agency asked me to provide German A1 certificate or undergraduate degree certificate (choose one from the two), non-criminal record certificate, passport and ID card. The rest was left to them. It turned out to be very worry-free! In order to better integrate into life in Austria, I signed up to learn German A1. You don’t have to worry about A1 being at the elementary school level. You can learn basic words and phrases, too!

4⃣️Austria’s quota stipulates that you cannot work and pay taxes in the first five years, so I have been working as a purchasing agent. In fact, the income is not bad, and I can earn a lot from my own small business. If you want to work, 10 months after you get your residence card, find a local employer willing to hire you and apply for a work permit for you, and you can work normally! Needless to say, Austria’s welfare benefits include free public medical care and free education, which are very good in Europe!

5⃣️Most of the Chinese who immigrated to Austria are a family of three. Some of them have husbands who earn money in China and wives who accompany their children to study there. They live quite comfortably! In fact, the cost is really not much, about four to five million yuan is enough!
