Australia Immigration Bureau recently announced the cancellation of some temporary visas for domestic delivery of medical examinations

Australia Immigration Bureau announced on October 18 that in order to simplify the requirements for applicants for temporary visas in Australia and speed up visa review, applicants who submit temporary visas in Australia will no longer need to undergo a physical examination. These include 476/485/500 student visas, 590, 600 and other commonly used visas.
It should be noted that applicants who have the following situations still need to undergo relevant physical examinations:
Have applied for a medical visa, temporary protection visa or other temporary residence visa
may require medical treatment or incur medical expenses
intend to engage in (or study to become) doctors, dentists, nurses, and nursing staff related work
will enter a hospital, nursing institution for the elderly or disabled
0 will enter a hospital, nursing home for the elderly or disabled
0 I am pregnant and planned to give birth in Australia
will work or receive training in the Australian Children's Care Centre
Apply for a 600 visitor visa and over 75 years old
Have had family contact with patients with tuberculosis
Immigration Bureau specifically requires
That is to say, if you are an overseas student who is already in Australia, if you submit your subsequent student visa application now or in the future, you will no longer need to make an appointment and complete a physical examination.
And:
or above policies only apply to applicants who submit visas in Australia. Submitting an application abroad still requires completing the relevant physical examination in accordance with the original regulations (according to the current process, first submitting a visa, then completing the physical examination as required and uploading the physical examination report)
and the original remain unchanged is that if the applicant has completed a similar physical examination within the past year, whether in Australia or in China, there is no need to re-examination for the visa or renewal; but if it exceeds one year, a re-examination is required
