The project is based on a survey conducted between April 30 and July 13, 2022 on 17,991 people from 36 countries around the world, including 8,061 elite class, 4,536 business decision makers and 8,035 ordinary people.
Quality of life has become the highest-weighted indicator this year. In this regard, U.S. news editor and chief content officer Kim Castro said, "Putting quality of life first shows that factors such as a good job market, affordability, political stability, and a developed health and education system play an increasingly important role in shaping a country's global image."

Resilience abilities evaluate a country's adaptability, reaction speed, dynamic ability, development level, etc. Innovation ability evaluates a country's degree of globalization, national education, entrepreneurship and innovation ability, capital injection ability, complete legal framework, etc. The first place in these aspects shows the outstanding strength of the United States.
European countries remain strong in this ranking, accounting for 6 seats in the top ten.
