Detailed explanation of the US immigration schedule
1. Except for the immediate family members of US citizens (spouse, parents, unmarried children under the age of 21) there is no visa quota restriction, other relatives and professional immigrants must be determined based on the priority date, immigration priority category and country of visa issuance.
2. The Immigration Bureau will assign the "Priority Date" based on the applicant's immigration application date, which represents the first day of your immigration application to the US government, and this date represents your waiting number plate.
3. Priority date definition: Occupational immigration is based on the date when the Office of Labor (DOL) receives the labor card application. If you do not need to apply for labor certificate , the date when USCIS receives occupational immigration I-140/relative immigration I-130.
4. The applicant's priority date is the reservation for his immigration visa.
5. The "Priority Date" and the applicant's "Birthplace" and "Immigration Priority Category" will determine whether the applicant needs to wait for the visa quota, or how long it will take to have a visa available. When a visa is available, applicants can submit I-485 status adjustments.

Difference between Table A and Table B
【Table A】The last approval date for green card (FAD)
can be referred to as "approval schedule", which is the date when the green card can be issued. When the date of Table A is forward to the applicant's priority date, the applicant can get the green card.
[Table B] Application date for submitting green card (DFA for short)
can be referred to as "delivery schedule", which means the date when the applicant can submit the green card application form (I-485), and the progress is significantly faster than Table A.
When the priority date on the applicant's I-797 form is consistent with the schedule date of Table B, the applicant can submit an I-485 application. I-485 also includes the application for return to the US certificate AP and work card EAD. During the time difference between Table A and Table B, applicants can obtain AP and EAD legally log in to the United States to work.
When the priority date is consistent with the schedule date of Table A, the Immigration Bureau will start to review I-485 and issue green cards. Whether to use Table B needs to be decided based on the current arrangements of the Immigration Bureau.

How to check the progress of the case
When USCIS receives the application, it will send a receipt (I-797C Notice Of Action) to inform the case that it has been received, and it will also inform the relevant follow-up actions and other information.
I-797C There is a "Receipt Number" in the upper left, which consists of 3 letters and 10 numbers. With this receipt number, you can check case progress and status at any time on USCIS.
Each form will have an independent receipt number.
For example: Even if you send three types: I-485 identity conversion, I-131 return to the US certificate application, and I-765 public card application, you will receive 3 independent I-797Cs, one for I-485, one for I-131, and one for I-765, and each for I-765 will have their own receipt numbers on it, and you need to search for progress one by one.
