On December 22, our county held a report meeting on the county’s study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Li Weidong, head of the county party committee’s propaganda team and secretary of the county party committee, gave a report based on the actual situation of our county and gave a vivid “political lesson” to party members and cadres. The report meeting was chaired by Ma Binghe, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department.
At the meeting, Li Weidong focused on the themes and main results of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the work of the past five years and the great changes of the new era in the past 10 years, the sinicization of Marxism with the times, Chinese-style modernization, and the goals and tasks of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way, and adhered to the party's overall leadership and It has a very important guiding significance for our county to conscientiously study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and strive to write a new chapter for the green rise of Wuxi.
Li Weidong emphasized that in the next step, all departments and units at all levels must follow the instructions of the Party Central Committee, the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee, and the work requirements of the County Party Committee, and work hard on comprehensive study, comprehensive grasp, and comprehensive implementation, so that the Party’s innovative theory can fly into the homes of ordinary people. They must focus on the grand blueprint drawn by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the goals established, and the strategic deployment made to ensure that this year ends well and next year starts well, providing a strong ideological guarantee and strong spiritual power to start a new journey of socialist modernization.
Ma Binghe requested that party organizations at all levels in the county should regard studying the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party as their current primary political task; the county party committee propaganda team, the Ninghe Golden Horn propaganda team and leading cadres at all levels should give full play to their "backbone" roles, Go deep into villages, communities, and fields, preach theories in a language that ordinary people can understand, and explain theories in a way that ordinary people can remember, so as to ensure that the party's innovative theories are well-known and take root, and that the results of learning are continuously transformed into motivation and effectiveness for work.
