Gorbachev is the president of the former Soviet Union, Reagan is the president of the United States. The two of them overlapped for three or four years during their reign, but even individuals are opposite and opposite in all aspects. Let’s take a look.
1. The reasons for coming to the stage are in conflict. Gorbachev came to power because he was young and was 54 years old when he was in power. Reagan came to power by age (of course he was capable). He was 69 years old when he was in power. He was the oldest president in the United States in history.
2. The results of governance are in opposition. Gorbachev finally dismantled the Soviet Union. Reagan used the Star Wars plan to allow the United States to surpass the Soviet Union and regain the throne of the world's superpower.
3. Experience opposition. Gorbachev became the president of the Soviet Union, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he made a living by becoming an actor. Reagan was an actor and later became president if he didn't become an actor.
4. Evaluation opposition. Gorbachev dismantled the Soviet Union. The Soviet people did not have a high opinion of him, but Western World gave him a Nobel Peace Prize. Reagan was praised by Americans but received no awards.
