Among them, Vietnamese Chairman Nguyen Xuan Phuc , with officials from various departments and representatives of private enterprises, attended the talks.
It is reported that Thai Finance Minister Akong attended the meeting. In addition, more than 400 senior executives of Thai-Vietnam companies and Vietnamese Thai people attended. This meeting is an important platform for promoting trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam, and will be able to comprehensively improve the cooperation potential between the two countries from all dimensions.
Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized that Thailand is an important strategic partner of Vietnam. In the past, Thai companies have invested in as many as 670 projects in Vietnam, with a total investment of more than US$13 billion, ranking 8th among the countries with the most investments in Vietnam. Therefore, Thailand and Vietnam set a goal to make the trade volume between the two sides reach US$25 billion by 2025, but judging from the current cooperation trend, the trade volume between the two sides may reach US$30 billion.
