In order to thoroughly implement the "Opinions on Strengthening Legal Supervision of Procuratorial Organs in the New Era" of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Regulations on the Circuit Procuratorate of the People's Procuratorate", on November 7, Wang Xueming, director of the Third Procuratorial Department of the Lu'an People's Procuratorate, led a group of five people to the Shucheng County Detention Center to conduct a four-day inspection. On the same day, the on-site inspection team held a mobilization and deployment meeting. Cui Yong, deputy county magistrate of Shucheng County and director of the Public Security Bureau, Jin Shanlin, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Procurator General of Shucheng County People's Procuratorate, and staff of the procuratorate stationed in the office attended the meeting. At the mobilization and deployment meeting, Wang Xueming, head of the inspection team, informed the key points, overall arrangements and requirements of the inspection team. Subsequently, Cui Yong made statements on behalf of the County Public Security Bureau and Jinshanlin, representing the County Procuratorate, and both expressed that he would fully cooperate with the work of the inspection team. , the on-site inspection, review of relevant files and ledgers, viewing some surveillance videos in the prison room, and interviewing detainees, etc., and provide preliminary feedback on the supervision and law enforcement, criminal execution, and prosecutorial performance of the detention center in the dispatched procuratorate, and provide preliminary feedback on the risk points and problems found. Yang Dequan, director of the detention center, and Hong Chengcang, director of the Third Procuratorate, both expressed that the questions raised by the inspection team will be accepted according to the order, and will adhere to the problem-oriented approach, benchmark and implement the rectification and implementation of various institutional norms.
This circuit inspection will further gather the joint efforts of both the police and the procuratorate to jointly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of detainees, ensure the safety and stability of supervision sites and the smooth progress of criminal litigation activities.
