Zhengguan News Comprehensive Report British Prime Minister Tras held a press conference at his official residence in Downing Street on the 20th to announce his resignation. He is the shortest-lived prime minister in British political history. He has been in office for less than 6 weeks (Tras officially took office as British Prime Minister on September 6).

There are roughly a few reasons for Tras' abdication. The tax cut plan announced by former British Chancellor Kwoten last month caused market turmoil, and investors sold pounds and treasury bonds, forcing central bank to intervene. On the 14th, Kwoten resigned at the request of Trass.

British Home Secretary Sura Braverman resigned on the 19th of this month for sending official documents through private email.

Tras' cabinet changed two generals in a row within a week, causing her poll support to plummet. The party criticized her for being incompetent and said that she was "forced to the palace" was strong.

htmlOn the 20th, Tras issued a statement saying that he would resign. Meanwhile, Tras further added that he would remain until a new leader was elected.
