htmlOn October 7, a young nurse who participated in CDM (nonviolent resistance movement) in Karom, Myanmar encountered arrests from the Thai police when she was smuggling into Thailand, so she jumped into , Hanoi, and committed suicide.
It is understood that the woman who committed suicide by jumping into the river was a nurse who participated in the CDM movement after February 1, 2021. On the same day, she and her husband smuggled to work in Thailand and were arrested by the Thai police. So the two of them ran away together, but during the escape, she jumped into Hanoi to commit suicide.
A person familiar with the matter said that the woman was only about 25 years old. She and her husband gave birth to a child. The child is only 4 years old and is in his hometown. Now that she is gone, we express our grief.
Previously, some educators participating in the CDM movement in Nansan Town, De'ang District, northern Shan State, could only do some daily wage jobs or look for jobs in the old street area due to their difficulties in life. Even if I work in a local tea factory and work 10 hours a day, I only have a salary of 3500 Myanmar Kykel , and my life is very difficult.
At present, many people who participate in CDM have no jobs and have a very difficult life and can only find other jobs.
