2021, under the strong leadership of the local county and district committees, governments and party groups of the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, the seven counties and district ecological environment branches in the city focused on their goals, were brave enough to act, actively assisted economic and social development, effectively promoted significant improvement of ecological environment quality, and achieved a good start to the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the ecological environment. A number of advanced county and district ecological environment branches have emerged that have worked hard, promoted development, and made outstanding contributions have emerged.
In order to play the exemplary and leading role of advanced models, insist on developing in protection, protecting in development, and fight the tough battle against pollution prevention and control in depth, and further strengthen the city’s ecological environment protection work, six branches that were rated as “excellent” in the 2021 county and district committees and government target performance appraisal, namely: Huoqiu County Ecological Environment Branch, Jinzhai County Ecological Environment Branch, Huoshan County Ecological Environment Branch, Shucheng County Ecological Environment Branch, Jin'an District Ecological Environment Branch, and Yeji District Ecological Environment Branch. We hope that the county and district ecological environment branches, which have been rated as "excellent", cherish their honors, avoid arrogance and impetuosity, work hard, achieve new achievements, and make greater contributions to the development of the city's environmental protection cause.
New goals, new requirements, new journey. Ecological and environmental departments at all levels and cadres and staff in the city should take excellence as an example, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, work hard and move forward bravely, fight the battle to defend blue sky, clear water and clean land with higher standards, and contribute to accelerating the construction of a modern and beautiful Lu'an that harmonious coexistence between man and nature!
With the joint efforts of the city and county levels, on December 24, 2021, Lu'an City won the excellent assessment of the pollution prevention and control battle in the provincial party committee and government prefecture-level cities.
