Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino Barros (Japanese descent) are a couple living in Brazilian and have been married for six years.
Because they are dwarfists, both of them are very short. In 2016, they were selected as Guinness World Record , becoming "the shortest couple in the world". The two of them combined are only 181.41 cm (Paul's 90.28 cm, and Cachucia's 91.13 cm).
According to the Daily Star on October 30th local time, although the Baros and his wife are not satisfactory in height, they are "happy makers". The two of them have more than 270,000 fans in total, and they are really a pair of "little internet celebrities".
The Baros couple are happy to tell the difficulties they encountered in their lives, but they use an interesting way , "no pain, full of laughter."
According to her husband Paul, they want to tell everyone in this way the difficulties faced by "little people". At the same time, they also hope that people can improve their understanding of dwarfism. "When it comes to inclusion, it is easy for people to think of amputees or paralyzed people, but dwarfism is almost never mentioned."
Paul is a chef and Kaciña is a beautician . They can all support themselves, but it is not easy. "It's not convenient for us to go out without a smaller bank teller or a smaller bathroom."
Paul showed his shopping scene at the supermarket, pushing a small car for children, but he could only get the bottom layer of the container. "Most of the products are piled on shelves that I can't reach, unless someone is willing to help me, but I won't speak easily."
"A lot of people sent messages after seeing our videos saying we brought them happiness and they defeated depression with our content, which is very gratifying," Paul said in an interview.
The couple did not deliberately vilify themselves. They are all small things in daily life, but they also make people feel vivid and interesting because of their special image.
For example, Paul once shared a video of cleaning up the dishes after eating. When he saw the mess next to the sink, he felt a headache, but Cachucia looked calm, then took out a bottle of drink from the refrigerator, sat next to him and started playing with his cell phone. Paul, on the other hand, finished it for a long time, and said in a self-deprecating way next to the short video, "Do you know I like washing dishes?"
Although I may not be very happy in my heart, I have to say that Paul really loves his wife.
Speaking of the love between the two, Cachucia said that at first she was frightened by Paul, "We met online, but it was not smooth sailing. At the beginning, he tried too hard and kept looking for me, and I had to block him."
Paul did not deny his wife's complaints. He said to Cachucia: "I'm trying to get your response." Now the couple lives in a specially renovated house in Itapeva, Brazil, living with their Yorkshire terrier "Milady".
They have many plans for the future, but they also admitted that having children is not included.
