During the search of Mar-a-Lago in August, FBI agents took away about 13,000 documents, of which more than 100 were confidential documents.
Trump denied the misconduct of owning these documents at Mar-a-Lago and said he decrypted any documents he owned and could decrypt them through those documents he signed in the past.
After the Washington Post published this story, Trump published an article on his social media website Truth Social, saying that “the FBI and the Department of Justice are now constantly leaking documents to fake news. He also reiterated an earlier claim that FBI officials may implant or remove his files.
