After the comment came out, Musk responded on Twitter, saying his company was launching the "Star Link Program", which implies that the Star Link system can provide Internet assistance to the Iranian people.
This shows that this guidance from the United States is very targeted. Its purpose is to add fuel to the turbulent situation in Iran and thus promote a color revolution in Iran! This move clearly shows that there is a need to interfere in Iran's internal affairs and subvert the current Iranian regime.
Relevant experts believe that the guidance issued by the United States has three characteristics. First, it basically continued the "Internet Freedom" plan proposed by Hillary in 2011, that is, the United States and allies use Internet tools to achieve the purpose of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and subverting the regimes of other countries. Second, American Internet companies must respect the will of the country. The most obvious example is that in 2020, Trump's account was permanently banned. Twitter is to eliminate Trump's appeal on the Internet according to the Democratic Party of the United States. Third, this is an asymmetric attack method.
For now, the United States prefers to use non-military means against Iran. This is because on the one hand, the United States is not sure to defeat Iran by force, and even if it wins, it will be a miserable victory, which will definitely not be worth the loss. On the other hand, the United States has experience in paralyzing thousands of centrifuges in Iran by spreading computer viruses, so it is easy to use and there are no obstacles.
In order to subvert the Iranian regime, the United States really does everything! It seems that any technological means will become a tool for them to gain benefits and make a fuss all over the world, which will inevitably arouse strong dissatisfaction and protests from Iran.
At present, Iran has three ways to counter it.
First, strengthen energy cooperation relations with Russia. Previously, Russia and Iran had signed an investment agreement worth US$40 billion. The two parties will use their local currency to settle in these investments, that is, the Iranian currency riyal and the Russian currency ruble to directly trade in order to combat the US dollar oil system.
Second, it strengthens security protection with the country's Internet, and China has long had experience in this regard. The Iranian government can learn from China's experience in cybersecurity and build a powerful network firewall, ready to deal with US cyber attacks at any time.

Third, Iran wants to expose the ugly face of the United States' interference in other countries' internal affairs internationally, and can even hold military exercises near Strait of Hormuz to respond to US interference with tough means, and at the same time sanction relevant US Internet companies, so that they can pay a heavy price for their "helping evil."
In short, the more the United States wants to disrupt Iran, the more Iran needs to take measures to respond and there can be no compromise!
