As a service provider who connects with the masses, grassroots cadres must cultivate "eyeight", "foot strength" and "brain strength", so that there are details in their eyes, strength under their feet, and knowledge in their minds, and then burst out with the "new vitality" of grassroots cadres.
Grassroots cadres should be good at improving their "eyeight" and learn to observe problems from point to surface and from shallow to deep. We must learn to quickly identify the difficult and strange problems that arise in our work, clarify the interests of problems, and accurately identify the key points of solving problems. Practicing a pair of clairvoyances of "seeing the essence through phenomena" can enable us to keenly observe the "urgent, difficult and anxious" problems of the masses in grassroots work, and better become the "confidants" in the hearts of the masses.
Grassroots cadres should be good at improving their "foot strength" and tempering the iron feet of the "measure the grassroots". The knowledge you get from paper is always shallow, and you must practice it yourself to know it. When young cadres stand on the grassroots soil, they must "come from the masses and go to the masses", go to villages and households, measure the hearts of the people with their steps, go deep into the people's homes, bend down, calm down, humbly ask the masses for advice, and be willing to be a "primary school student".
Grassroots cadres should be good at improving their "brain power", constantly learn and think, and enrich their knowledge base. There is an old saying: "If you study without thinking, you will be confused; if you think without learning, you will be in danger." Grassroots cadres must have a clear idea of various policies, cultivate the internal strength of knowledge reserves, and activate the smart brain that combines theory and practice, so as to reasonably and effectively solve the urgent needs, hope and think of the masses, and become the "leaders" in the minds of the masses.
Grassroots cadres are connected to the Party and the government on one end and the people on the other.
