Ministry of Commerce responds to the US adding 7 Chinese entities to its export control list
In response to the recent news released by the US Department of Commerce that the United States has added 7 Chinese-related entities to its export control list, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting said on the 25th , China firmly opposes this. The United States should immediately stop its wrong practices. China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies and institutions.
At the regular online press conference of the Ministry of Commerce held that day, Shu Jueting emphasized that the United States has repeatedly overextended the concept of national security, abused export control and other measures, and used state power to suppress and contain companies and institutions in other countries, including seven Chinese companies. The entity is included in the export control "Entity List". The U.S.'s actions seriously undermine normal economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and American companies, seriously undermine market rules and international economic and trade order, and seriously threaten the stability of global industrial and supply chains. This is not good for China and the United States, nor is it good for the entire world.
