Recently, the Nanjing Municipal People's Government officially approved that it will be located in Xinjiekou Street, Xuanwu District, between the Bank of Nanjing Head Office Building at No. 288 Zhongshan Road and the Suliang International Building at No. 338 Zhongshan Road, running east-west, starting from the west gate of Xihe Plaza in the east. The road that reaches the intersection of Zhongshan Road in the west and is about 83 meters long and 7 meters wide is named "Liang'an Lane".
Why is the small road named "Liang'an"? It turns out that there are three important grain-related units working in the Suliang International Building at the end of the alley: Jiangsu Provincial Grain and Material Reserves Bureau , National Grain and Material Reserves Bureau Jiangsu Bureau and Jiangsu Provincial Grain Group Co., Ltd. These three units implement the central government's policies on food and material reserves and the decisions and arrangements of the provincial party committee and government, and assume the important functions of ensuring food security and strategic emergency material reserves in Jiangsu Province.
