According to a report on November 15th, a vicious dog assault occurred in the UK. A woman in her 70s was attacked by a bulldog while she was walking. The bite was severe and a finger was bitten off. Recently the dog owner was sentenced.
It is understood that in August last year, when Mary (a pseudonym, 74 years old) was walking in the park, a bulldog broke away from the chain, leaped towards the old man, threw the old man to the ground, and continued to bite him. The owner could not control the dog, so he had no choice but to find someone to help. When the surrounding workers heard the old man screaming, they came to the scene with a steel pipe and chased the dog away. Finally, the 25-jin dog was driven away from the old man. One of the workers was bitten. The old man was immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. His right cheek was severely bitten. He needed stitches in many places on his body, even skin grafts, and he was bitten off a finger. According to the dog walker, this dog is his girlfriend's dog, and he has only been in foster care for a week, so he can accept the dog's euthanasia. On November 12 this year, the man was sentenced to two years and seven months’ imprisonment, and it is forbidden to raise any animals within 10 years.
warns dog lovers to take good care of their dogs when walking their dogs to prevent them from attacking other people.
