No matter how cold the weather is, it can't cool the heartless heart!
At the end of December, a snowstorm hit Echos, Miss., USA, with the temperature as low as minus 17 degrees Celsius. Everyone was hiding in their houses to keep warm, but a dog was abandoned by his so-called family in the freezing snow!

This dog, named Emmy, is a mixed-blood bulldog. It huddled helplessly in a pile of debris, hoping to maintain its body temperature.
But it is covered with white snow, and its body has been covered with a layer of cold snowflakes...

The cold is attacking it, but no matter how cold it is at this moment, it can't be compared to the chills.
Fortunately, Amy was rescued by an organization called "P.O.E.T Animal Rescue" before she was buried in the thick snow, but her face was still full of sadness, which was heartbreaking to see.

If it hadn’t been discovered by a kind person, it would certainly not have lasted long!
After inquiring, Amy was thrown out of the car one night. She may have been in such weather for a day and a half. The previous owner wanted to freeze her to death! After the rescue organization

published his story, a local veterinary clinic immediately called and offered to check him out.
Amy is about 8 or 9 years old. Her body is hypothermic, underweight, she has skin diseases and fleas , and there are pressure sores on the joints of her limbs.

And it is very likely that he has lived in a cage for a long time and must have suffered a lot in the past.
But Amy is still friendly. Maybe she knows that the people in front of her saved her. After she recovers, she will wag her tail and ask for a pet, as if to express her gratitude ~

Currently, Amy is recuperating in a halfway house. She took a bath, wore new clothes, and slept on a soft bed.
But it didn't move for almost the whole night. It might be afraid that it was dreaming, and that all the warmth would disappear when it woke up.

But it welcomed Christmas with its companions the next day, and its road to happiness has just begun~

I hope Amy can find her forever home soon, forget her pain, and have only happiness for the rest of her life!
