1 Injecting the chip

This chip is mainly used to record the identity information of pets. At present, this can basically be done in pet hospitals in Korea, so you can find a more formal pet hospital to do it.
Attention! The chip injected for pets must comply with the international standards ISO11784 and 11785.

2 Rabies Vaccine
If you want to bring your pet back to your country, you also need to provide proof of pet vaccination against rabies.
This vaccine should be an inactivated virus vaccine instead of a live virus vaccine, so everyone must pay attention to the difference between the two vaccines.
Inactivated virus vaccine needs to be vaccinated twice, with an interval of more than 30 days between each time. After the vaccination, be sure to record the date of vaccination, drug code and other information.

3 Pet health certificate
In addition, everyone also needs to prepare a pet health certificate.
Everyone needs to go to a pet hospital with a veterinary qualification certificate to do an examination of the pet's body.
After checking the pet's body, the hospital is required to issue a pet health certificate.
If you don’t speak Korean well, you can tell the pet hospital directly that you are a foreigner. If you want to bring your pet back to your country, you need to apply for a pet health certificate.
When issuing a pet health certificate, please note that the owner’s name must be consistent with the passport, and your flight information must also be stated.
4 After the airport quarantine
, you can go to the animal quarantine department of the airport to go through the relevant quarantine procedures on the day of departure.
After the inspection by the airport quarantine department, the corresponding quarantine certificate will be issued to everyone.
This quarantine certificate must be properly kept, because it will be used when boarding or entering China.
5 Bring your pet on the plane

There are two main forms for bringing pets on the plane, one is to check in the aerobic cabin, and the other is to bring it into the cabin.
Generally speaking, pets weighing no more than 5kg can be brought into the cabin.
If the pet is large or exceeds the relevant specifications, it can only be checked in the aerobic cabin.
