Wren is a small songbird with a length of between 9-10 cm. Their heads are light brown with a light yellow eyebrow pattern; the upper body and tail are chestnut brown, covered with black fine spots; the tips of the two wings are white, and the overall brown-red and brownish-colored. The wool has a long, straight mouth and is thinner and weaker, with short and round wings and a short and soft tail.
Wren lives in forests, shrubs, gardens in small towns and suburbs, forest belts on the edge of the city, grass on the shore and other places. Their breeding season is from April to August, and they breed twice a year. During the breeding season, they are mostly distributed in middle and high mountainous areas with an altitude of more than 700-4,000 meters. In winter, they will be moved to low mountainous areas and plains. They are often encountered in gravel piles, towns, villages and farmland on both sides of the river.

The wren has a lively personality and is very cowardly. They are good at concealing. When they see someone approaching, they will hide in overturned trees, shrubs or piles of rocks, and they often move from the other side to escape. When flying, they generally fly in a straight line at an altitude of about 1 meter from the ground. Although the flight altitude is very low, they fly quickly and agilely and are not easy to be observed. They will stop and rest when they are not far away, and they will often rise high when they rest.

Although wrens look very "soft" and have a strong sense of territory. To maintain their territory, they sing and sing loudly, making themselves seem less easy to mess with. Once the enemy is discovered, the male bird is responsible for expelling the invaders. It will squat down and flap its wings and slap its back, constantly shaking its tail feathers to intimidate.
