On December 21, Zhengzhou Aquarium’s Polar Animal World once again welcomed heavyweight polar “distinguished guests”—two beluga whales . The beluga angel first appeared in Henan and became the "top star" in the polar animal world of Zhengzhou Aquarium due to its cute and cute appearance. It is worth mentioning that by safely delivering the beluga weighing about 1 ton to its new home on the 6th floor, Zhengzhou Aquarium broke the domestic high-altitude hoisting record.
The beluga whale is known as the "canary in the sea" and can make hundreds of varied sounds. Compared with dolphins , beluga whales have higher IQs and stronger social skills. They prefer to communicate and interact with humans. They are also affectionately called "social cows". The two beluga whales that settled in Zhengzhou this time are named Green and Blue, one male and one female. The two beluga whales are nearly 5 meters long and weigh about 1 ton each. They are the most lively and active when they are six or seven years old.
How did the huge body of the beluga get here? How did a behemoth weighing about 1 ton enter the 6-story new home of Zhengzhou Aquarium? The transportation of the beluga was extremely difficult this time. The staff of Zhengzhou Aquarium changed the plan dozens of times and finally adopted the breakthrough hoisting method. After the long-distance transport vehicle arrived at the Zhengzhou Aquarium, a crane with a load capacity of 50 tons followed closely behind. After the transportation started, the crane extended its arm to lift the stretcher carrying the beluga whale to the 6th floor and then rotated it horizontally. The beluga was safely placed on the lifting platform outside the wall of the beluga bay on the 6th floor. After that, more than 20 staff moved it parallel to the room, and the on-site staff were relieved. There were no mistakes or mistakes in the mutual connection, and the two beluga whales were able to settle in safely.
You can see deer when the forest is deep, and whales when the sea is blue. Move to the Beluga Bay on the 6th floor of the Polar Animal World of Zhengzhou Aquarium, the new home of the beluga whale. Continuing down to the 4th floor, you can see the beluga whale on the bottom of the sea.
