Near the Yanwo Island Wetland in Bawusan Farm, Baoqing County, every dusk, tens of thousands of geese fly over, densely packed, covering the sky and the sun. From a distance, the geese are like floating clouds running around the sky, dancing in the afterglow, and the silhouettes are picturesque, outlining a series of magnificent pictures of harmony and nature.
In recent days, in the Dongsheng Wetland of Baoqing County, nearly 10,000 migratory birds stop foraging here every day. Every evening, the sun sets and the water is backlit. Tens of thousands of white-fronted geese gather in the reeds and water surface of the wetlands. It is covered with the rise and fall, and the scene is very spectacular.
Baoqing County Yanwo Island Wetland and Dongsheng Wetland are both key protected wetlands in our province. They are important supply stations for migratory birds to stay in China through the southward migration and wintering migratory birds, and are also an important migration stop for geese. Every year, hundreds of thousands of geese are foraging here to replenish their physical strength. These geese will stay here for a while before moving south one after another, leaving one after another around mid-November.
