In recent days, the annual migratory bird migration journey has begun one after another. The pioneers of migratory birds migrating south have flew to Henan, and bird monitoring personnel have found a variety of migratory birds in many wetlands in our province.
On October 21, in the Mengjin section of the Yellow River Wetland, the water was rippling and the sound of birds singing came one after another. ordinary cormorant , Mallhead Duck , ribbed Duck , green-winged Duck , etc. were inhabited here, which was very comfortable.
"Recently, the reserve has welcomed many winter migratory birds overwintering. We have monitored 7 black storks ." Guo Zhun, director of the Research Office of Mengjin Management Center of Henan Yellow River Wetland National Nature Reserve, told reporters that black storks are known as "giant pandas among birds" and are an "old friend" of Mengjin Yellow River Wetland. The 7 black storks currently monitored are the vanguards. According to past experience, the large black stork troops will arrive one after another soon. In addition, bird monitoring personnel in the reserve have monitored 60 national first-class protected animals, yellow-breasted buns, and 62 national second-class protected animals, white spoonbills.
The Mengzhou section of Henan Yellow River Wetland National Nature Reserve has also welcomed more than 100 white spoonbills. During the simultaneous monitoring and investigation of water birds in Henan Province in autumn, more than 20 species of birds, including white spoonbills, red-backed ducks, spot-billed ducks, spot-billed ducks, , and more than 20 species of birds were monitored, among which the white spoonbill population was more than 100.
10 days ago, Sanmenxia ushered in the first batch of swan to overwinter this year. According to statistics from the Sanmenxia Management Office of the National Nature Reserve of Yellow River Wetlands in Henan, as of now, there are nearly 70 swans living in Sanmenxia for wintering. The vanguard of migratory birds migrating south has also arrived in the Changyuan section of the Yellow River.
