Przewals mainly live in grasslands and semi-arid desert environments. The name "Przewals" refers to the 19th century Tsarist and colonist Purgewalsky. The endemic species of my country - Przewalsky also got its name from him. In the 1870s, Platz led an expedition to the Junggar Basin in Xinjiang, China, and encountered and hunted several wild horses. After the news came back to Europe, batches of explorers came to hear the news, but most of them just to hunt for curiosity and "conquer". Many wild horses later died under hunting rifles or were transported to Europe.
