According to most people's most obvious cognition, the snakes with triangular snake heads are all poisonous snakes. Although this cognition will make mistakes, there are only a few snakes that can turn their snake heads into triangles and are not poisonous in my country, and the distribution area is not widespread, so this cognition is not easy to make mistakes. Even if it is not a highly venomous snake, it is also a micro-venomous snake, and it will pay a certain price after biting.
The purple sand snake has a very obvious triangular snake head, and its not-so-bright spots give it enough camouflage. Its body is very distinctive, with a large head, a thin neck, and its pupils are upright and have a distinct oval shape. There are obvious green-brown patterns on the head and back, and the tail is vaguely visible on the top of the head back; the body is purple-brown, the back scales are smooth and dull, with 17 rows in the middle; the ventral surface is yellow-brown. Small dots are arranged side by side into several vertical patterns. The back is purple-brown. There are mostly light brown spots with irregular "∧" shapes and dark purple inlaid, and some do not have such spots, but only irregularly arranged dark brown short fold lines, light yellow on the ventral surface, dense purple-brown fine dots, or purple-brown longitudinal lines or dot lines; there are several vertical lines with slightly dark and shallow sides of the body. The back of the head is purple-brown, with several dark purple longitudinal lines with light brown edges; the lip edge and jaw are light brown.
Purple Sand Snake is of medium size among snakes. Its fangs are back, which means that it will generally not be poisoned if bitten by it. However, no one can guarantee this. Its personality is very irritable. In addition, it mainly lives on the plains, and its body color is very similar to dead branches and leaves. Therefore, it is very good at disguise and is also very good at climbing. It will go out to move during the day and at night. And it is like a chameleon. The color of its body can be adjusted to a certain extent according to the surrounding color, becoming darker or lighter. Its active attack can scare away many people. But in fact, the activity area of the Purple Sand Snake itself is almost unrelated to the activity area of our humans, so there are fewer records of it hurting people.
Because snakes have almost two groups of reproductive organs, they are selective in reproduction of offspring, and it is no exception. Its reproductive organs have one on the left and right sides of the body. When reproduction, each of its reproductive organs will be conceived at the same time. The number of eggs laid on both sides is the same. This is different from other snakes who choose excellent genes. Usually, the number of offspring is three to ten at a time.
Although it belongs to a land-based snake, it can still be found in some low bushes, but this kind of discovery is almost always injured.
Many people may think that the toxins in the body of micro-venomous snakes will not have any impact on our human body, so they are called micro-venomous snakes. However, this perception is wrong. Just like the red-necked trough snake, it also belongs to micro-venomous snakes. However, there is a record that after it bites the human body, the toxin takes the life of that person in just sixteen minutes. Therefore, micro-venomous snakes distinguish people. Not everyone will have such luck. They are fighting for life with God, so we still need to cherish ourselves a little more.
