Hong Kong Ocean Park held a special ceremony for "An'an"
On September 28, Hong Kong Ocean Park specially held a tree planting ceremony for "An'an" to commemorate it. At the ceremony, the garden party announced that after obtaining the consent of from the Chinese Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, some of the remains of "An'an" will be preserved and used for research on giant pandas and giant panda care in the future, in order to promote the spirit of "sustaining life with life". The remaining bodies were cremated and buried on the land in front of the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Qizhen Pavilion" under a freshly planted ginkgo tree.
