In 2012, 2019 and 2020, it revised the "Jiangxi Province Measures for the Implementation of the Wildlife Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" three times. The decision to designate the Siberian Crane as a "provincial bird" was made in 2019, creating a good legal atmosphere for protecting the homeland of migratory birds.

The "Jiangxi Province Migratory Bird Protection Regulations" is my country's first legislation targeting the protection of a certain type of wild animals, providing a solid legal guarantee for the protection of migratory birds. The "Regulations" further clarify the responsibilities for the protection of migratory birds, include the protection of migratory birds within the scope of responsibility of the people's government at or above the county level and the forest chief system, and connect it with the river chief system and lake chief system, establish a comprehensive coordination mechanism, research and coordinate , Solve major problems in the protection of migratory birds, and promote the joint efforts of all relevant departments to protect migratory birds.
At the same time, in order to clarify the protection measures for migratory birds and their habitats, the "Regulations" are aimed at the situation that the distribution areas of winter migratory birds are generally relatively concentrated and the distribution areas of summer migratory birds are relatively scattered. The provincial forestry department delimits and announces the concentrated distribution areas and ranges of migratory birds, Take corresponding protective measures to protect, restore and repair the living environment of migratory birds; the people's governments at or above the county level in the Poyang Lake area and other areas where migratory birds are concentrated take special protection measures for habitats in extreme environments, through habitat modification, ecological water replenishment, artificial Feeding and other measures should be taken to appropriately improve the living environment of migratory birds; standardize the behavior of watching and photographing migratory birds, scientifically set up migratory bird watching spots and viewing routes, and guide the public to watch birds in a civilized manner.

For Jiangxi, migratory birds are both important protection objects and valuable tourism resources. How to develop their ecological value while protecting migratory birds? The "Regulations" establish a government investment mechanism, a compensation mechanism for damage caused by migratory birds, and a mechanism for realizing the ecological value of migratory birds. It is clarified that people's governments at or above the county level can scientifically set up observation scopes, standardize bird watching behavior, and reduce interference to migratory birds. Activities such as Bird Week and bird watching competitions will develop ecological bird watching tourism resources, create bird watching ecological products, and promote the industrialization of migratory bird ecology. At the same time, in order to effectively implement the regulations on the protection of migratory birds, the "Regulations" also implement grid management for the protection of migratory birds in concentrated distribution areas and important habitats, promote regional law enforcement cooperation, promptly and effectively investigate and deal with illegal activities that damage migratory bird resources; establish migratory bird protection interviews Mechanism to clarify the interview and rectification system for areas with poor protection of migratory bird resources, prominent problems, and strong public complaints, so as to effectively consolidate the responsibility for migratory bird protection and promote the protection of migratory bird resources.
