Liu Bin, director of the Management Office of the Dafeng Elk National Nature Reserve in Jiangsu Province, said: "The king of deer will declare its sovereignty through a series of behaviors, such as using grass on its antlers and smearing mud on its body to declare its sovereignty over the female deer. Once again, it will keep driving other male elk into its territory. In this way, the deer king has exclusive mating rights. "
A baby elk has been born in Dafeng Elk National Nature Reserve this year. 1036 heads. Currently, the elk population has reached 7,033. Among them, there are 3,116 wild elk, making it the largest wild elk population in the world.
