Of course, if the dog keeps rubbing its butt, it may be due to crowding. There is nothing wrong with people being crowded in this situation.
There is no one to squeeze the anal glands of stray dogs, so there is no problem. Feed your dog some bones regularly. When the dog poops, the poop is relatively hard and the anal glands will be squeezed out naturally without human intervention. I have seen older dogs suffer from anal prolapse due to the constant squeezing of the anal glands. The pros and cons need to be weighed by the owner himself.
