This 800 kg Arctic walrus Wally is 4 years old this year and has been "wandering" before. walrus is a semi-aquatic creature, they can sleep on floating ice for more than 20 hours at a time. Therefore, experts speculate that Wally may have just started his "wandering journey" when the glacier melted while resting on the ice floes.

Then in the next few months, Wally's figure was discovered one after another across Europe. People first discovered Wally on March 14 this year. When a father and daughter were walking on an island in Ireland, a five-year-old girl found Wally lying on the rocks by the sea to rest. On March 26, in the seaside town of Tenby in Wales , local residents spotted Wally. Wally might be tired from swimming and wanted to climb onto the boat to take a rest (just like on a glacier), but because of his weight, he overturned a boat. Because he stayed in Wales for a long time and became a local "star", the brewery there also took the opportunity to launch "Walley Beer".

Later, when Wally went to the Isles of Scilly in England, people specially made a pontoon for it to protect it from injury while swimming.

On August 10, a winery in Ireland issued a message saying that an "Arctic tourist" appeared on his boat, and Wally became more and more famous.

It is reported that Wally had already swam 4000 kilometers when he went to Ireland, and now it appears in Iceland, it has swam at least another 900 kilometers. Wally’s two front flippers have scars in front of them. It is precisely because of this scar that an organization that protects the walrus confirms that the walrus now appearing in Iceland is Wally.

The staff of the organization said: "I didn't have any hope of seeing Wally again, but it appeared! It made me very happy. Wally should be in good condition. Back to the North Pole."
