Hello everyone, aquarists, I am a veteran fish farmer, and I can easily raise the water and happily raise fish with you. Please pay attention to the aquarists!
powdering, white spots, fraying, and fin inflammation, all seem to be similar to white spots. However, if we observe carefully or want to understand the principle, it will become very simple to distinguish. This kind of problem has also been introduced in detail in my other articles.
So, why change the water for some aquarium fish's mealy diseases, some have to change the pH of the water, and some may not be cured even if the water is changed and the pH is changed?
Eosinophile Odinium is just a primer
We all know that the aquarium fish suffers from powdery mildew caused by Eosinophil Odinium. To put it bluntly, the water in is excessively acidified, which corrodes the tail or body surface of the ornamental fish.
Mild mildew can be solved immediately by changing the water. For more serious cases, it can be solved by adjusting the pH of the water by baking soda . This is not a big problem. It stands to reason that this disease can be solved by changing the water. Water and conditioning water quality can be controlled, especially in the case of bare tanks, which means that there is no aquatic grass, bottom sand or any algae in the aquarium.
In this case, we will find that the white spots on the tail of the ornamental fish will gradually disappear, including the red blood streaks, and will develop in a good direction. It will gradually disappear from red, revealing what the ornamental fish should have. Color.
However, in some cases, it may be repeated, especially when the algae explodes excessively.
We say generally speaking,Powdery mildew is more common in goldfish, especially in goldfish tanks that cultivate moss and green water during the summer season of .
put it bluntly, that is, excessive algae outbreaks, and then there may be rapid aging, death, acidification, and a series of problems caused by powdery mildew outbreaks.
In this case, it is possible that changing the water or adjusting the water quality only solves the temporary problem. If the algae in the fish tank is still in , the water quality will quickly deteriorate again, so this condition can only be repeated. Especially in the summer season.
Why did regularly and completely remove the algae on the wall of the tile pot in the old style of raising goldfish in the past, and let them grow again? This is based on this principle.
Many novice aquarists are treating aquarium fish's powdery disease, especially goldfish, always feel unwilling to that tank of green algae , in fact, keep the tank of green algae, even though No matter how much baking soda is added, the water quality becomes completely alkaline. If algae explode in large numbers, or will die quickly, the goldfish will still die, or the powder will be more severe.
It may be the only way to remove algae and start from scratch.
So, when you encounter many problems in fish farming, there will never be only one answer, nor does it always have to be fixed in that answer.
If we change the water to solve the problem, the goldfish quickly recovered health, and the algae did not break out seriously, then nothing needs to be done. The same reason can be proved. The goldfish is as good as before by using baking soda, then there is no problem.
Assuming that I don’t understand how to adjust it, why didn’t get rid of the algae that is most likely to cause mildew? , especially the glass fish tank, the algae will die faster,Because it is not breathable.
At the same time in the process of removing algae from , the physical filtration and cleaning filter cotton must keep up with , otherwise, the water quality may not be able to play, and the ornamental fish will still get sick. Moreover, even if the water quality is completely adjusted, the algae is also removed, and the body surface of the ornamental fish may still need anti-inflammatory or further recovery.
In fact, we can completely imagine a pure naked tank with goldfish. If there are no algae or plants, is there any chance that they will develop powdery mildew? Unless it is a biochemical filter material or filter cotton and the inside of the fish tank, there are too many impurities remaining, and the water has not been changed for a long time, otherwise there is no such possibility at all. It is such a simple logic of thinking.
I am a veteran fish farmer, so stay tuned for more ornamental fish issues, thank you!
