January and February are the seasons for mountain cherry blossoms, and March and April are the seasons for Yoshino cherry blossoms, which are the Japanese cherry blossoms we usually see. Since the beginning of March, several roommates in the dormitory have been wanting to go to Tianyuan Palace, the nearest holy land for cherry blossom viewing, to enjoy cherry blossoms. However, it has been raining, and I thought that the cherry blossoms have been wiped out by the heavy rain, so I will have to wait and see for the trip.
It was almost the end of March, and the weather finally cleared up. A few people packed up and rushed to the Tamsui MRT station early in the morning.
I would like to tell you that from March 1st to 31st, the Tamsui MRT Station will open the Tianyuan Palace Cherry Blossom Special Bus, specially designed to transport tourists who appreciate the flowers directly to Tianyuan Palace to enjoy the flowers. The full ticket with Easy Card is only NT$15 and RMB 3. There will be no stops in the middle, one stop will go directly to Tianyuan Palace. Everyone can take advantage of it.
Therefore, during March and April, we often see Sakura buses carrying groups of travelers on the road, coming and going, and coming and going.
At that time, we were taking a chance and waited for the bus at Tamsui, Taipei, the station closest to where we lived, because there were several buses to Tianyuan Palace there, but unexpectedly, after waiting for an hour, there was no bus. Seeing that there was still an hour left before the cherry blossom bus stopped carrying passengers, I quickly got on the car and went to the MRT station and took the special bus obediently. The cherry blossom bus picks up passengers every day from 9:00 to 4:00 pm or 4:30, so everyone should leave early.
If you get on the bus, you will arrive at Tianyuan Palace in 20 to 25 minutes. There are quite a lot of people, and most of them come to enjoy the flowers. There is a trail on the right, and you can see Tianyuan Palace as you walk up the trail. Surrounding Tianyuan Palace is a row of cherry blossoms.
