According to a report from Taiwan's defense department reported today (26th) by Taiwanese media, within 24 hours from 6 am yesterday (25th) to 6 am, 71 PLA military aircraft were tracked around the Taiwan Strait, including 47 that crossed the so-called "central line of the strait" and entered the southwest airspace of Taiwan Island, and 27 PLA warships, setting a "record for the most" in a single day.

According to the Taiwan Defense Ministry, the 47 sorties of PLA military aircraft included 12 "J-11", 6 "Su-30", 6 " J-10", and 18 "J-1". There are also 1 " Rainbow 4 UAV ", "Yun-8 long-range jammer", " Yun-8 anti-submarine aircraft ", "Kongjing-500 reconnaissance aircraft" and "Wujiang-7" UAV, a total of 9 models.

Prior to this, Army Colonel Shi Yi, spokesman for our Eastern Theater Command, said that on December 25, the Chinese People's Liberation Army's Eastern Theater Command organized joint combat readiness patrols and joint fire strike drills of various services and arms in the sea and airspace surrounding Taiwan Island. This is a resolute response to the current escalation of collusion and provocation between the United States and Taiwan. The theater troops will take all necessary measures to resolutely defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

As for the so-called "middle line of the strait" called by the Taiwan Defense Ministry, the mainland has pointed out many times that there is no such "line" between the two sides of the strait.
