According to information from Taiwan’s defense department, from 6 a.m. on December 25 to 6 a.m. on December 27, a total of 71 PLA military aircraft and 7 PLA warships were detected operating around the Taiwan Strait. Among them, 47 PLA military aircraft flew across the central line of the strait and entered Taiwan’s southwest airspace. These include 12 " J-11", 6 "Su-30" fighters, 6 "J-10" fighters, 18 "J-11" fighters, and one " Rainbow 4 UAV ", "Yun-8 long-range jammer", "Yun-8 anti-submarine level", "Kongjing-500" reconnaissance aircraft and "Wuzhen-7" UAV.

China Times Electronic News commented that this is also the largest number of PLA military aircraft arriving in Taiwan since 2022. It is also the second largest number of PLA military aircraft entering Taiwan's southwest airspace and flying across the central line of the Taiwan Strait.
