It just so happened that I watched the drama version for the second time this month and discovered many details that I didn’t notice the first time I watched it. I also found that I had actually forgotten many important plot points.

Huang Yuxuan & Chen Yunru
In fact, as soon as the movie trailer came out, many people were guessing which one was Huang Yuxuan and which one was Chen Yunru in this picture.

In the drama, there are many scenes where Li Ziwei rides a bicycle with Huang Yuxuan or Chen Yunru. Huang Yuxuan never puts her arms around Li Ziwei's waist, and it doesn't even matter if she takes Li Ziwei's car or Mok Junjie's car.
While Chen Yunru was pretending to be Huang Yuxuan, she couldn't help but put her arms around Li Ziwei's waist, wanting to have more physical contact with him.
However, all the pretense will still be exposed. When Li Ziwei discovered that Chen Yunru was not Huang Yuxuan, Chen Yunru's dark side also emerged.

As a result, Li Ziwei began to become very indifferent to Chen Yunru because he missed Huang Yuxuan too much.
After Chen Yunru returned to herself, she found that her classmates and family members preferred Huang Yuxuan who had traveled through time. This became the last straw for her. She found Xie Zongru and wanted him to kill her.

Li Ziwei & Wang Chuansheng
Due to some special reasons, Wang Chuansheng’s extra story was not released in the mainland version of "Want to See You", but many people may not know that there is an important crossing point between Li Ziwei and Wang Chuansheng hidden in the extra story! !
In the extra story, Wang Quansheng, who lived in 2010, was bullied by his classmates because he liked the same sex, and finally chose to commit suicide by throwing himself into the sea.
On the other side, since Chen Yunru’s death in 1999 has not been changed, Li Ziwei returned to Taiwan after studying abroad and had a car accident on his way home after visiting Mo Junjie.
When he woke up again, Li Ziwei found himself in the sea. From this moment, Li Ziwei officially traveled into Wang Quansheng's body.
* As for the whereabouts of Wang Quansheng’s identity, the answer is not given in the play, and I don’t know if it will be told in the movie.
So from the beginning to the end, there is only one person who likes Huang Yuxuan and is in love with Huang Yuxuan, and that is Li Ziwei.
Wang Chuansheng, whom Huang Yuxuan met later, was also the result of Li Ziwei's time travel.
has 98 years of memories. From the moment he traveled to Wang Quansheng, Li Ziwei knew that he would meet and fall in love with Huang Yuxuan in college as Wang Quansheng.
He hasn’t met anyone yet, and Li Ziwei is already worrying about what to talk about when they meet.
Later, the two fell in love, and Huang Yuxuan found that Wang Quansheng was a perfect partner, also because Wang Quansheng at this time was Li Ziwei, and he also had the memory of falling in love with Huang Yuxuan in 1998.
Look at it this way, Wang Chuansheng and Huang Yuxuan can be so sweet, it is simply cheating! !
I personally think the most interesting thing about the drama version is: When Li Ziwei’s soul traveled into Wang Quansheng’s body, Li Ziwei’s body also existed.
In other words, two Li Ziwei existed at the same time, and they were even seen at the airport.
At this time, Huang Yuxuan was transferred to Shanghai due to work reasons. Wang Quansheng planned to propose to her, but they had a big quarrel and failed, so Wang Quansheng planned to go to Shanghai to find her.
In the future talked about by Huang Yuxuan in 1998, Wang Chuansheng died in the plane crash, and Li Ziwei came to persuade him not to get on the plane.
But from another perspective, if Wang Quansheng had not boarded this flight, the future and the past would have been changed. Huang Yuxuan will not travel to the past because she misses him too much, and Li Ziwei in the past will not meet and fall in love with Huang Yuxuan.

After Li Ziwei and Huang Yuxuan reunited, Huang Yuxuan told Li Ziwei that Xie Zhiqi was the murderer.

Only when I watched it for the second time did I realize that Mo Junjie is the most miserable character in this drama. He has no time travel skills, and his life is completely changed by Li Ziwei and Huang Yuxuan.
When he liked Chen Yunru, Chen Yunru was secretly in love with Li Ziwei. When Huang Yuxuan traveled to Chen Yunru, he was the first person to notice that Chen Yunru's personality had disappeared.
Mo Junjie really loves Chen Yunru.
Later, Chen Yunru decided to die on New Year's Eve to let everyone remember her extraordinary appearance. Xie Zhiqi terminated the time travel because she was disturbed during the time travel and did not kill Chen Yunru.
And Chen Yunru wanted to die, so she begged Mo Junjie to kill her.
Mo Junjie couldn’t do it, so Chen Yunru fell down and committed suicide.
In order to fulfill Chen Yunru’s wish to be killed on New Year’s Eve, Mo Junjie pretended to kill Chen Yunru, and spent several years in prison for this.
Later, Mo Junjie was imprisoned and was hit hard by the death of his grandmother. After drinking with Li Ziwei for a night, Mo Junjie chose to commit suicide by jumping off the building in the same way as Chen Yunru fell from the building.
Fortunately, all this changed because of Huang Yuxuan's time travel. In the end, because Chen Yunru did not die, Mo Junjie did not go to jail and a series of other things.
What is worth looking forward to is that in the trailer of the movie version, Chen Yunru's personal trailer only has Mo Junjie as the male protagonist, and Mo Junjie's personal trailer only has Chen Yunru.

After rewatching it, I discovered that no one in this drama loved the wrong person, or anyone’s love was misplaced.
