The Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan rose on the streets and established a base in the southern region of Taiwan in a short period of time. In the 2020 public opinion representative election for Taiwan’s legislative body, there were no public opinion representatives from the Kuomintang in southern Taiwan. No one can break through the tight siege of the Democratic Progressive Party, including Hong Xiuzhu, the former chairman of the Kuomintang who ran for public opinion representative in Tainan. The agriculture and fisheries in southern Taiwan are developed, and farmers and fishermen are die-hard fans of the DPP. These people enjoyed dividends through the policy of favoring Taiwan when cross-strait relations were good, but they did not drink water and think about the source. Instead, they became supporters of the DPP's campaign to "resist China and protect Taiwan." In recent years, the mainland has required Taiwanese seafood companies to complete registration before entering the mainland market, but these people have turned a deaf ear. The mainland has used an iron fist this time, suspending more than 99% of Taiwan's aquatic products from entering the mainland at once. Only one Taiwanese food factory that completed registration before August can still deliver aquatic products to the mainland. However, as Taiwan's agricultural and fishery products have been repeatedly detected to contain parasites and harmful substances, the mainland has repeatedly notified the Taiwan Agriculture Commission, but there has been no response. Therefore, in order to protect the lives and health of the people, the mainland has begun to increase its requirements for agricultural and fishery products in Taiwan.

Mainland China’s customs has detected banned drugs latent malachite green and latent crystal violet in live groupers imported from Taiwan to the mainland in recent years. Both of these are fungicides used to prevent catches from becoming sick. However, due to its high residue and high toxicity, can produce side effects such as carcinogenesis, teratogenesis, and mutagenesis. Mainland China did not allow the use of related drugs as early as 2002. This is not the first offense for Taiwan. Similar incidents occurred as early as 2009, before the "early harvest list" was introduced. In June 2009, Xiamen detected the banned drug malachite green from 4 batches of Taiwanese aquatic products. The varieties involved at that time were refrigerated seabass , refrigerated larvae and frozen pomfret, totaling 3,000 kilograms. Some of the catches have been sold as commodities. The relevant local departments urgently recalled the products and punished the dealers.This shows that the use of this banned drug is very common on the island, and it remains unchanged after repeated teachings.

The relevant competent departments have informed the Taiwan side of relevant matters and requirements through existing contact channels, and handles the registration of Taiwan's food production enterprises to be imported into the mainland in accordance with relevant regulations."
However, it is not known whether it is the agricultural department on the island that deliberately did not convey the relevant regulations to Taiwan's aquatic products enterprises, or whether the relevant enterprises ignore it and ignore it. Taiwan aquatic products have 890 items registered in the mainland, but there is actually only one item. A company completed the registration before August. As the deadline arrives, the mainland will naturally prohibit unregistered Taiwanese aquatic products companies from entering Taiwan. Therefore, 99.9% of aquatic product companies are banned from importing products into the mainland, which is not unfair.
Pingtung County
This company registered on time is called "Weiyi Food". The Yusong product under the company can also enter the mainland normally. According to the introduction of this company, the company was established in 1991, Kaohsiung , and is now located in the industrial area of Pingtung County. It mainly produces sailboat pine , tuna pine, salmon pine, pork pine , beef jerky, tuna egg rolls, cherry shrimp and so on. This has blocked the DPP politicians. They can't imagine using "political operations" to discredit this matter and put it into an exaggeration. When doing business in a region, you must abide by local laws, regulations and institutional constraints. This is a universal general rule. Companies on Taiwan’s island also need to comply with local regulations when entering the markets of Japan and the United States. In 2022, bananas exported to Japan from Taiwan were returned as a whole because they did not comply with local epidemic prevention regulations. The Phalaenopsis flowers exported to the United States were returned to 23 containers by the United States because weeds were detected. Taiwan’s aquatic products enter the mainland and enjoy the treatment of exemption from tariffs, so they naturally should comply with relevant regulations of the mainland. This has nothing to do with cross-strait relations and the unified and independent field, it is just a simple trade event.

The mainland requires Taiwanese companies to register in the mainland, but 99.9% of aquatic products companies ignored it. can only say that these companies are completely spoiled by the mainland and only want to enjoy preferential treatment without taking basic responsibilities, but do not know that rights and obligations exist at the same time. Such situations as are not uncommon on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in recent years. Many Taiwanese people only want benefits when they come to the mainland, but they don’t even want to abide by basic laws and regulations. They want to enjoy special policies everywhere and take the "green channel", but they lack basic respect for the mainland. Everything has a bottom line. As long as you cross this line and harm the vital interests of the mainland, no matter who you are, you will pay the price. In this way, we can also send a clear signal to Taiwan’s island. Without rules, there will be no square or circle. Thunder, rain and dew, is it God’s kindness? The mainland welcomes companies on Taiwan’s island, but Taiwanese companies must abide by mainland China’s rules. Anyone who violates the mainland's regulations will only be unable to move forward.
