As we all know, the current political forces in Taiwan are mainly divided into two major camps, namely the blue camp led by the Kuomintang and the green camp led by the Democratic Progressive Party. The Kuomintang generally tends to "11 Consensus ", while the Democratic Progressive Party tends to "Taiwan independence".
In order to confront the mainland, the DPP has recruited all kinds of people who have ulterior motives in cross-strait relations since its founding, and former chairman Shi Mingde is one of them.
Recently, Shi Mingde, who had retired for many years, issued a so-called "open letter", suggesting that Tsai Ing-wen should order the withdrawal of troops from Kinmen Matsu and build a peaceful special zone.

The green camp forces represented by the DPP are different. Their so-called peace is just to secretly promote "Taiwan independence" under the guise of peace. The typical representative is Shi Mingde's proposal on the Golden Horse Peace Special Zone, which is essentially still fried leftovers.
In the "open letter", Shi Mingde claimed that "if Taiwan withdraws troops from Jinma and establishes the Jinma Peace Special Zone, it represents an olive branch extending to the mainland." This is really too whimsical.

Shi Mingde now wants to secretly intervene in Chen Cang, artificially isolate the relationship between the Golden Horse and Taiwan, which is a deliberate creation of division. There is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is an integral part of China. This is a recognized fact around the world and has also been recognized by international organizations including the United Nations.
The Taiwan authorities are not qualified to set up the so-called "peaceful special zone" without authorization, nor are they qualified to treat the Golden Horse area differently. Shi Mingde's proposal is arrogance and full of "peace", but its ultimate goal is still to realize the sinful dream of "Taiwan independence".
Kinmen and Xiamen are close to
Regarding the so-called "peace", Shi Mingde's logic is this: Kinmen Matsu is very close to the mainland. If a war occurs on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, this will be the front line of confrontation with the People's Liberation Army.
From the current military power comparison between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, it is completely impossible for Taiwan to stop the PLA here. So if the Golden Horse is set up as the so-called "peaceful Special Zone", the mainland will have no reason to attack again, so that the PLA can prevent the PLA from reinstating Taiwan. The logic of

Kinmen Matsu is indeed impossible to defend in military terms, but the focus of our army's combat has never been not on the Taiwan army, but on using its strong strength to force retreat or defeat the United States or other countries that may have come to interfere.

This sounds like a good thing, but Shi Mingde then put forward three conditions for cross-strait negotiations, saying that "it must be carried out under reciprocity, equality, and no preset conditions."
This is still a disguised "two-state theory". Taiwan is part of China, and its status belongs to provincial administrative units and has no qualifications to be equal to the mainland.

The two sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to the same China. This is the biggest preset condition. All the so-called "negotiations" and "peace" that want to put aside this preset condition are all ill-intentioned and are untenable.
It is worth mentioning that Shi Mingde is the originator of "Taiwan independence" who was born and raised on the island. He was born in 1941, but he began to promote "Taiwan independence" in 1962 and was imprisoned many times.
After taking over as chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party in 1993, Shi Mingde saw that the vast majority of people on the island were opposed to "Taiwan independence", so he took the initiative to downplay the demands of "Taiwan independence", but in essence, he still does not recognize the "1992 Consensus" and does not recognize the objective fact that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one China. Such a person talks about "peace" every day, which sounds quite ridiculous.
Tsai Ing-wen
In the nine-in-one "election" in Taiwan some time ago, the DPP was defeated, and only 5 seats were won in 23 counties and cities, which fully demonstrates that the DPP's cross-strait policy is being despised by the Taiwanese people.
Tsai Ing-wen has been in power for six years, and has been constantly confronting the mainland, and has colluded with external forces, which has led to long-term tensions in cross-strait relations. The risks of war have been accumulating, which has damaged the peace on both sides of the strait and the welfare of people on both sides of the strait, and has become a rat crossing the street on the island.
In this case, all the demons and gods in the green camp came out to make suggestions and find a way out for the DPP, but as long as the evil dream of "Taiwan independence" remains unchanged, any road is a evil or dead end.

Shi Mingde is over 80 years old and now he suddenly jumped out to call for "peace". The specific reason is unknown, but one thing is certain.
