Account for fundraising fraud by impersonating a name
Recently, an APP named "Zhenrong" in the Android mobile phone system operates, publishes, sells financial products for investment projects such as steel bars, hydropower stations, etc. in the name of Wenzhou Longwan District Zhenrong Investment Co., Ltd. It is known that the victims are spread across Nanjing, Enshi and other places, causing property losses to the people.
Wenzhou Longwan District Zhenrong Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhenrong Company") was established on December 13, 2017. It is a state-owned enterprise of Longwan District. It is located in Room 201, No. 166, Wenchang Road, Science and Technology Park, Wenzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Zhejiang Province. It has a registered capital of RMB 50 million. Its business scope is investment in the renovation projects and management of shanty towns (dilent houses) in Longwan District, urban construction, infrastructure, and real estate development.
Zhenrong Company discovered the above situation and conducted self-inspection as soon as possible and verified the information they had. It is confirmed that there is no act of self-authorizing or entrusting third parties to produce, publish or operate the "Zhenrong" APP. The insurance certificates, business licenses (copy), financial licenses, and fund custody business payment and settlement service cooperation agreements displayed in the APP are all forged; the registered capital, business term, and registration authority official seal of the business license do not comply with the most basic license production rules, and the fund custody business payment and settlement service cooperation agreements are also inconsistent with the formal bank format contract. Zhenrong Company has not obtained a financial license issued by the state, nor has it issued any financial management projects in violation of regulations.
Zhenrong Company reported the case to the district public security organs on August 23. On August 31, Zhenrong Company published an "Serious Statement" on the fourth page of Wenzhou Business Daily, stating that Zhenrong Company has never released the "Zhenrong" APP for financing.
I hope that the general public will not be deceived when receiving such promotional and publicity activities, pay careful attention and report it to the local public security organs in a timely manner.
