In order to assist New Taipei farmers in promoting agricultural products, the New Taipei City Agriculture Bureau has established the New Taipei Hope Market brand. This weekend, Hope Market will combine slash personnel and the Taiwan Coffee Development Association to hold the 2022 New Taipei City Hope Market "Xiaoqing New Coffee Festival" at the East Coast Plaza of Bitan Scenic Area, selling New Taipei agricultural products, handmade crafts and hand-brewed coffee on site.
New Taipei Coffee Festival is based on the theme of "When coffee meets local ingredients" to help promote local agricultural products. There are 70 stalls on site and more than 100 brands, including desserts and baristas, handicraftsmen and many local small farmers. The event will be held at the East Coast Plaza of Bitan Scenic Area from November 12 and 13 from 10 am to 6 pm.
On-site barista and New Taipei farmers cooperate to launch limited special drinks and snacks for coffee festivals. For example, Da Vinxi Coffee specially uses coffee beans from the Zhulunzi Manor in New Taipei Sanxia and the golden dates grown by Lu Yizhen, the president of Qingnong Fellowship, to launch special gold and metal seal. In addition, some baristas also used Xizhi District Farmers Association to prepare tea, Shiding District Farmers Association Baihao Wulong and Sanzhi Mufeng Farm to make event-specific drinks respectively.
New Taipei City Agriculture Director Coco Lee said that through cooperation with slash personnel and Taiwan Coffee Development Association to hold the coffee festival exhibition and sale, it can enhance the brand awareness of the Hope Market and steadily develop the market, create long-term and stable sales channels for farmers, and provide a distribution center for citizens to purchase fresh and high-quality agricultural products.
