Old Trafford Stadium (Old Trafford), is a professional football stadium located in Stratford, Greater Manchester County, England. It is the home stadium of the Premier League Manchester United Football Club . It is known as the "The Theatre of Dreams". The stadium covers an area of about 7140 square meters (68 meters x 105 meters) and the number of spectators seats is about 76,000. It is the second largest football stadium in England and one of the three UEFA five-star football stadiums in England.

History Process
Old Trafford Stadium was built in 1908 and completed in 1910. The designer is Archibald Leach from Scotland. In the 1940s, the Old Trafford Stadium was deactivated for eight years due to multiple bombings by the Luftwaffe during World War II and was only resumed in 1949. In the 1960s and 1970s, after a series of reconstructions, the Old Trafford Stadium added supporting facilities such as private rooms and electronic scoreboards. In 2000, Manchester United Club expanded the Old Trafford Stadium, with a stadium capacity of 68,217 people, becoming the largest stadium in England at that time. On May 26, 2006, the capacity of Old Trafford Stadium reached about 76,000 people after the expansion was completed.
Old Trafford Stadium is the top football stadium in Europe, hosted major events such as the 1966 World Cup in England, the 1996 European Cup in England, and the 2012 London Olympic Football Championship. It is also the venue for the 2003 European Champions League final.

War Calamity
When World War II broke out, Old Trafford was requisitioned by the British army as a military barracks and supply stations for the army. Although the stadium was requisitioned, football matches were still held on the stadium. Until December 22, 1940, the Germans bombed the nearby Old Trafford Park, causing damage to the stadium. This damage order will be held on Christmas Day from Manchester United against Stowe Port, which needs to be moved to Stowe Port's home court.
After about two months of maintenance, the Old Trafford Stadium was finally able to re-summon on March 8, 1941, but after 3 days, it was again subjected to another round of air strikes by the German army and suffered more serious damage. As a result, Manchester United needs to find another stadium to play. Under pressure from Jans Gison, the War Wrecking Commission promised to compensate Manchester United for £4,800 for cleaning up damaged wreckage and £17,478 for rebuilding the stadium.
When the reconstruction was underway, Manchester United decided to borrow the home court of the same city club Manchester City for £5,000 per year and some ticket revenue as the team's agent home court. The club still had about £15,000 in debt at the time and apparently failed to support the borrowing fee for Maine Road Stadium. Some people have asked the government for additional compensation, but unfortunately they are not able to do so.
In 1949, Old Trafford Stadium was finally able to reopen after being closed for nearly 10 years. Manchester United finally returned to Old Trafford on August 24, 1949 and beat Bolton 3-0 in front of 41,748 people.

Alex Sir Ferguson Stand
Stand 0 Stand is three floors high in total and can accommodate about 26,000 spectators, the most among the four stands. Sir Ferguson's stands also provide some wing rooms for fans. The current Sir Ferguson stand was opened in 1996, replacing the stand that had only one floor before. As the main stand of the stadium, Sir Ferguson stand contains a large number of stadium facilities, including Manchester United's themed coffee shop and Manchester United Museum.
The Manchester United Museum opened in 1986 and is the world's first museum based on club history. The original Manchester United Museum was located in the southeast corner of Old Trafford and was not relocated to the North Stand after the reconstruction was completed in 1998. At that time, the club invited Billy, the king of football, to preside over the museum's relocation ceremony on April 11, 1998. According to the official Manchester United page, the museum can attract 200,000 visitors each year. On November 5, 2011, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sir Ferguson coaching at the club, the North Stand was named Sir Alex Ferguson's Stand.

Old Trafford is the most famous of its west stand, also known as the Stretford End. Traditionally, this is the base for Manchester United fans and the loudest stand for cheering the entire stadium. East Stand
East Stand is the second old Trafford to be converted into an open-air stair stand, second only to Sir Ferguson Stand. The East Stand is also called the scoreboard of the stadium, because the scoreboard of the stadium is located in this Stand. The East Stand can currently accommodate 12,000 fans, and is a disabled area and a visiting fan area. The disabled area provides 170 seats and provides free seating for those who are caring for. In the past, Old Trafford assigned seats for each part by letter, and the East Stand was the former "K Stand", and fans here liked to cheer the club with their singing. Munich Clock

After the completion of the expansion of Manchester United in 2006, it actively continues to expand the Old Trafford Stadium, and the next plan is to rebuild the South Stand. The South Stand does not have two floors like other stands, and still only one floor seating. If the South Stand can be expanded like the North Stand, Old Trafford's total capacity will exceed 95,000, surpassing Wembley Stadium to become the largest football stadium in England. However, it is also difficult to expand the South Stand. Since the South Stand is close to the railway, the railway station and rails need to be relocated. In addition, Manchester United also needs to acquire about 50 private houses near the train tracks, with the total cost of the project reaching 1 million pounds. However, Manchester United's property manager said the expansion plan was imperative and was an extremely important plan at Old Trafford. However, the expansion project also brought other problems. The increase in the height of the South stand will reduce the light of the stadium. Other large stadiums such as Wembley Stadium, Bannabe Stadium and San Siro Stadium also face this problem. Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson also said that the reconstruction of the North Stand of Old Trafford has long caused problems.
