These Taya people were more than 20,000 indigenous youths enlisted in Taiwan after the outbreak of the Pacific War in 1941. Recall that the previous generation of Taya people was killed by Japan using Three Light Policy , and the next generation was assimilated and educated to Nanyang as cannon fodder.
