The traditional Peking Opera "Fishing Golden Beetle" is a collaborative drama between Lao Dan and and clown, expressing China's filial piety culture. It mainly tells the story of Zhang Yi fishing in Mengjin River to support his mother. One day, he caught a golden beetle and was very happy. On the way home, he learned from his neighbors that his brother had become the magistrate of Xiangfu County and returned to his mother. Kang sent his son Zhang Yi to Xiangfu County to find his brother. After leaving, he had no news, so he went to Xiangfu in person.
The traditional Peking Opera "The First Soul Media" mainly tells the love story of Yang Yanzhao and Princess Chai. King Zhao Guangyi of Song led Princess Chai Meichun to the border to hunt, but was captured by the Liao general. Yang Yanzhao passed by Tongtai and rescued the Princess Song and the Princess. Fu Dingkui, the son of the minister Fu Long, was also coming. The King of Song mistakenly thought it was Fu Jiujia, so he promised the princess to marry him. The princess admires Yan Zhao's beautiful son; she gives poems and gifts to her with pearl shirts. Yan Zhao returned to Beijing and sought advice from the Eight Wise Kings.
