Liuzi Temple has long been approved as a patriotic education base in Hunan Province. In 2009, Liu Zongyuan's "people-oriented" and "integrity" thought exhibition hall was opened, becoming a base for integrity education in Hunan Province. In 2020, Liuzi Temple was selected as one of the top ten cultural and tourism landmarks in Hunan in 2019.
